Joe, rider Jim’s group. "At the TS at Yates Center – Funny story – Ron was on the rode, Jeff and Jim and I got out of the vehicle. The TS was staffed with a family and probably a total of 10 people. Keep in mind it was about 2:30 am central time. The staff there was excited as could be to see us and as soon as one of the guys there saw Jim Penseyres he just went nuts. Jim stuck his hand out to introduce himself and the guy said, “I know who you are, I’ve got every RAAM tape going back to the very beginning!” The guy was in awe. When Jim stood and took a picture with him it was incredible to see how happy the guy was to be getting a picture with one of his heroes!” Really incredible.”
